Chevron designed, engineered and will construct the solar project that includes solar photovoltaic panels on two buildings and parking canopies.

Tioga Energy will finance, own and operate the system, selling the generated electricity to Oceanic Time Warner Cable over the next 20 years.

The solar project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2011.

Under the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative, the state is transforming 70% of its power to clean energy by 2030.
