Carried out by SGS Canada, the initial testing from the first sample of 55.8% Cg was concentrated and divided into ten size fractions, including +28 (super jumbo flake), +35 (jumbo flake), +48 (jumbo flake) and +65 mesh (large flake).
Surface sample was obtained from a vein discovered as part of an initial beep mat and prospecting survey.
Graphite veins sampled at the property are said to have returned assays in the 17-81% Cg range.
Caribou King director and CEO Michael England said: "Buckingham is quickly showing us it is a very pure, high purity graphite project with graphite content of at least 98.4% coming from 28 to 65 (large to jumbo) mesh tests."
Covering 480 hectares, the Buckingham graphite property comprises eight claim blocks within the central metasedimentary belt of the grenville geologic province and graphite occurs in veins and masses within pegmatite, diopside skarn, marble and gneiss.
