Car Charging Group has signed an agreement with King Airport Parking to install and maintain the first electric vehicle (EV) charging station in the Jacksonville area, Florida.
Customers utilizing King Airport Parking’s facility will have access to Level II, 240V ChargePoint Networked Charging Stations, manufactured by Coulomb Technologies.
The 7.2kW output delivers Level II (208/240V @ 30A) charging via the standard SAE J1772 connector and fixed 18ft cable.
The 2kW output delivers Level I (120V @ 16A) charging via a standard NEMA 5-20 receptacle protected behind a locking door, and both outputs can deliver energy simultaneously.
Car Charging provides EV charging stations at no charge to property owners/managers while retaining ownership, thus allowing drivers access to convenient locations and landowner partners to realize a percentage of the charging revenue generated.
