SkyPower recently closed financing on these power projects with Deutsche Bank.
The first project is a 10.5MW solar park in Napanee and the second project is an 8.5MW solar park located in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
The construction of both projects is expected to be completed by mid-2011, and the projects are expected to collectively generate approximately 19 million KWh of power in their first full year of operation and almost 400 million kWh over the next 20 years.
SkyPower’s projects will be composed of 47,710 CS6P polycrystalline modules and 36,972 CS6P monocrystalline modules, respectively.
