This equipment will be delivered to Xcel Energy’s coal-fired Pawnee Generating Station in Brush located in the US state of Colorado.
The SCR system is used to control nitrogen oxides emissions from the plant’s boiler.
B&W said that it will execute the project for Xcel Energy this year.
In February, B&W announced a contract to design and supply two spray dry absorber units for sulfur dioxide emissions control at the Pawnee plant.
Start-up of the new equipment is scheduled for mid-2014.
