Brunei Shell has made senior-level appointments within Brunei Shell Petroleum, Brunei LNG and Brunei Shell Marketing, reported Brunei Press. Hj Salleh Bostaman Hj Zainal Abidin has been appointed as the new managing director of Brunei LNG, beginning mid-June.
Mr Bostaman will move to the new position from his current role as asset director of Brunei Shell Petroleum. He will succeed Fred Smeenk, who will move on to the position of COO in QatarGas.
Hjh Rosmawatty Hj Abd Mumin, currently Brunei Shell Petroleum’s west asset manager, will succeed Mr Bostaman as the company’s asset director. Following this, Hj Kamaluddin Hj Bungsu will be appointed as the west asset manager, replacing Ms Rosmawatty. Presently, Mr Kamaluddin is Brunei Shell Petroleum’s Darat asset manager.
Yap Kong Fah has been appointed as the new Darat asset manager of Brunei Shell Petroleum. Hj Said Ahmad will be appointed as the new managing director of Brunei Shell Marketing, effective September 1, 2008, succeeding Pg Hj Yasmin Pg Hj Mohamad. Currently, Mr Ahmad is on an international assignment in Shell Development Australia.
