BP, on behalf of the Tangguh Production Sharing Contractors, signed two major Tangguh Expansion Project contracts for the Onshore LNG Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Offshore GPF Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI).

The signing took place in BP’s office in South Jakarta and was witnessed by the Chairman of SKK Migas, Amien Sunaryadi.

The Onshore EPC contract is awarded to a joint venture led by Indonesian EPC Contractor Tripatra with Chiyoda, Saipem and Suluh Ardhi Engineering and the Offshore EPCI is awarded to PT Saipem Indonesia. Tangguh Train 3 Construction will begin by year-end and first LNG production in 2020.
