The company will begin the expansion of the supermarket division in January, 2011 to offer supermarket executives one-stop shopping for their energy conservation needs, including analysis of available utility incentives and financing options for conservation projects.
Bluestone Energy’s Supermarket Division, which offers energy conservation services related to lighting design and control systems, HVAC system retrofits and refrigeration, is claimed to have helped supermarket chains in the Northeast save over 30 million kilowatt hours of energy since2008.
The company that has also secured over $3m in utility incentives since 2008 has implemented projects that – in aggregate are expected to save clients over $4m per year through reduced energy expenditures.
Bluestone Energy director of project management Ryan Blair said that with the opening of three new offices in the Northeast over two years, Bluestone is well positioned to expand the supermarket division and provide energy conservation for supermarkets from Boston to Baltimore.
