By deploying Incenergy’s software platform that provides energy information and tools to manage electricity usage both on the consumer side of the meter and up to the grid-management level, Bluebonnet will help its members understand their energy usage and make smart energy choices.

Incenergy’s wireless networking system is designed to enable residents to manage real-time energy usage of a range of home appliances and systems and optimize the scheduling of energy use to improve energy efficiency and reduce electricity bills.

The implementation of the program focusing on heating ventilation and air-conditioning control through the usage of Incenergy energy management systems will enable Bluebonnet to establish energy use profiles and measure the impact of new technology, information, and pricing systems.

The program that will enable the participating customers to control their energy usage through a web portal and various smart phone devices is a part of the utility’s Sustainable Grid Strategy to integrate new technologies and programs to increase efficiency and maintain low cost power to members.
