The solar projects include a 3MW grid connected solar power plant at Raichur in Karnataka, a 5MW plant in Rajasthan, two plants of 2MW each in Maharashtra and 1MW in the Lakshadweep Islands.

The 5MW plant for Indian Oil Corp at Rajasthan was commissioned under the NTPC’s Vidyut Vyapar Nigam program of Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM).

Two PV power plants of 2 MW each were commissioned at Katol near Nagpur for Sepset Constructions and Citra Real Estate.

These projects are commissioned under roof-top PV and small solar power generation programme of IREDA under JNNSM.

In Lakshadweep, BHEL is executing a 1.9MW order from Lakshadweep Administration for augmentation and modernisation of existing solar power plants at various islands, of which 1.1MW has been commissioned.

The company is also executing solar power projects of 7.5MW for various customers which are in the final stages of commissioning, reports Business Standard.
