The solar PV project, valued at GBP1.5m, includes 2016 x AZUR 230-3 modules on the roof using A-frames to maximize efficiency, and the modules are coupled to 24 x Diehl Acko 19000TLD Platinum inverters.
The power project is expected to save nearly 5000 net tons of carbon plus deliver about a million pounds in savings over the next 25 years.
The modules will deliver enough energy to meet about 75% of the buildings day-time electricity requirements, equivalent to around 125 homes each year.
