The pause on the scheme will affect the Climate Change Ministry’s Clean Technology Investment Fund (CTIF).
The A$$800m CTIF program announced in February 2012 helps manufacturers buy plant and equipment that reduce carbon emissions and cut energy costs.
Projects eligible for support under the scheme include switching to less carbon intensive energy sources or installing new manufacturing equipment, processes and facilities.
The Australian Government is currently stopping grants to an extent of A$2bn.
