These services will be provided for up to an incremental 60 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) from the Woodford Shale region of Oklahoma to Velma processing facility in Oklahoma.

The deal will bring the processing capacity of the Velma facility to 160mmcfd after the expansion is completed.

The expansion project is expected to be completed in the middle of next year.

XTO Energy senior vice president of marketing Terry Schultz said the agreement will help provide XTO the necessary infrastructure to operate effectively in the Woodford Shale and access markets beyond the region.
