Atlantic Energias Renovaveis has signed the agreement of regularization of land to implement the Atlantic wind energy park in Clay Lagoon region (PI).

The company’s CEO, Jose Roberto de Moraes, attended the hearing with the State Governor Wellington Dias, and the director general of the Institute of Piaui land, Jose Osmar Alves.

In full operation, the wind farm complex Clay Lagoon will operate with 195 MW of installed capacity, increasing the representativeness of clean energy in the energy matrix of the State. At the height of construction, the complex should generate about 900 direct jobs.

The signing of the settlement agreement is the kickoff of Clay Pond of Wind Energy Complex, which will feature 8 Parks installed in the region and has operations early forecast already in the second half of 2018. The estimated investment is R$1.3 billion.

"The state of Piaui is addressing the implementation of the wind farm complex extremely agile, turning into action all commitments. We were very welcomed by the state government, "said José Roberto.

For the general director of INTERPI, Jose Osmar Alves, "Investment of Atlantic in the state is historically representative. In addition to investing in clean energy generation activity with very low environmental impact and high value, Clay Lagoon families have access to leases with more agility."
