The sale included a cash reimbursement of project costs and to collaborate on the development of a solar project in southern New Jersey, US.

The project will have the generating capacity of about 10MW of clean, renewable solar power and has an advanced PJM interconnection queue position, Atlantic Green Power said.

Atlantic Green Power Corporation sold a majority stake in another Delaware-based firm to Invenergy on 26 April 2011, for a separate southern New Jersey project that will generate up to 18MW of solar energy.

Invenergy executive vice president and chief development officer Jim Shield said the acquisition provides another project having an advanced interconnection queue position in New Jersey.

Invenergy and its affiliated companies develop, own and operate large-scale renewable and other clean energy generation facilities in North America and Europe.
