Artheon Battery Company, located in Nashik (130Kms from Mumbai), will manufacture a complete line of lead-acid batteries serving both the domestic battery markets in India and the export markets around the world.
Officials of the companies said that the new venture will combine the manufacturing and technology capabilities of NorthStar, and the distribution and service capabilities of Artheon across India. Together, the companies will plunge headlong into the Indian battery markets.

NorthStar Battery company is a member of the NorthStar Group, based in Stockholm, Sweden, serving the equipment manufacturers in the telecommunications and data storage backup power markets.
MTS invests and operates in renewable energy, clean technologies, telecommunications, security, defense and computer related products globally.
