The new liquefier, located adjacent to Applied’s first production train, has a production capacity of 86,000 gallons per day, marking the company’s total LNG production capacity to over 170,000 gallons per day.

Applied LNG president and CEO Cem Hacioglu said that the construction was completed in record time, at a fraction of the cost of similar projects and without any accidents or injuries.

"It is a testament not only to the technical capabilities of our staff but also to their selfless dedication to our company and our vision to become the leading LNG production and marketing company in the United States," Hacioglu added.

"We look forward to carrying this momentum as we further expand our operational footprint with our new production platform in Texas."
Applied LNG, earlier this year, had acquired 31 acres of land in Midlothian, Texas, US, to construct five liquefiers and store up to 1.5 million gallons of LNG.

Each liquefier is capable of producing an estimated 86,000 LNG gallons per day.

The first Texas liquefier is slated to commence production in early 2015 while the second liquefier in Topock online.
