Under the agreement with Applied CleanTech, the Israeli distributors will install ACT systems in at least three facilities during this year.
The company has signed the second agreement with a joint Jordanian and Palestinian Authorities (PA) group, that have committed to orders in a minimum of five facilities during the next two years.
Applied CleanTech operates a waste water recycling system at a waste water treatment plant (WWTP) operated by GES (Global Environmental Solutions) in Omer, the facility recycles municipal waste water for 10,000 residents.
The company signed a tender last week for the installation of an additional system for the WWTP in Zfat which handles the waste water for 30 thousand residents.
Applied CleanTech offers a unique technology for the treatment of waste water which enables WWTPs to reduce the high treatment costs including sludge removal and disposal and electricity consumption.
In addition, Applied CleanTech increases the facility’s capacity for incoming solids.
The technology makes the biological process of the WWTP more efficient by removing specific elements from the waste water which inhibit the digesting process.
