Andritz VA Tech Hydro has won a major plaudit from a customer satisfaction survey of maintenance, repair and overhaul work in the Sub-Saharan Africa power market.
In a survey carried out by research firm Frost & Sullivan (F&S), andritz va-tech Hydro’s rating well exceeded the average given by power plant clients for quality of work and technical knowledge.
On price competitiveness, the firm was joint leader, F&S reported. The manufacturer was ranked second on delivery time, which was ahead of the average performance.
Customer service was recognised as a strength in the survey and Andritz va-tech-hydro‘s point score was almost triple the sector average, said F&S.
As a consequence, F&S said that it had awarded the firm its 2007 awarded for customer satisfaction leadership in hydro turbine service in Africa.
