Under the contract, the company will supply two horizontal Pelton turbines each with a generating capacity of 18MW.
Andritz Hydro will also deliver generators, automation and additional equipment for the units 1 and 2, which were installed in 1959 and 1963, respectively.
The refurbishment of the hydropower plant is scheduled for completion in 2013.
As a result of the refurbishment, the output of the plant will be increased by around 8%, Andritz Hydro said.
