These new contracts, which require Tempress Systems to supply its diffusion processing systems for the solar customers in China and Taiwan, will bring Amtech’s fiscal 2011 year-to-date solar orders to more than $100m demonstrating Amtech’s execution of our solar growth strategy.
Amtech Systems CEO J Whang said that these latest orders further demonstrate Amtech’s ability to provide excellent product and service to the industry and the quality and depth of its expanding solar customer base.
"We believe the intense effort by our customers and the solar industry to increase cell efficiency will continue to drive demand for our superior diffusion technology," Whang said.
