The project is expected to provide over $199,693 in annual energy, water and maintenance related savings, upon completion.
The project will also have a positive impact on the environment with more than 1,306,099 lbs of CO2 reductions expected in greenhouse gas emissions annually, according to the company.
The energy efficiency project will replace the HVAC equipment, retrofit or replace inefficient lighting, and upgrade the campus Energy Management System (EMS) in multiple campus buildings.
In addition, water conservation measures will be implemented to save both water and energy for water heating.
Ameresco vice president for Northwest Region Mike O’Connor said the project provides significant reductions in energy and maintenance costs, along with replacing failing equipment including building control systems.
