Under the terms of the agreement, signed with OKG AB, Alstom will be responsible for annual maintenance, including inspection and commissioning of steam turbines, generators and associated auxiliary systems for Oskarshamn 1, 3 and to some extent 2, during ordinary maintenance outages.
Alstom will also provide a local on-site service team to support OKG’s personnel with component maintenance during operating periods at the Oskarshamn plant.
OKG CEO Johan Svenningsson said: "This agreement represents an important step for OKG as part of our long-term strategy to ensure competence and the further development of our work processes.
"We’re looking forward to working closely with Alstom to manage and carry out future service and maintenance tasks on the turbine systems with a focus on safe production, high availability and low production costs for our plants."
