AECOM selected to be part of $350m clean energy contract

The contract is worth a combined $350m and has been awarded under the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) mode.

Term of the contract runs for five-years wherein AECOM is expected to provide technical energy services; create environments for clean energy development and energy-sector reform while incorporating climate change into USAID mission programs.

AECOM chairman and chief executive officer John M. Dionisio highlighted that the company has the experience of finding energy solutions for USAID-funded projects.

The company will also work towards increasing human resource capacity in energy services while assessing their environmental implications.

Improvement of disaster preparedness and responses and recovery in the energy sector are also part of the contract.
