Enfield Energy Centre has awarded ABB a turnkey contract to build a 400 MW combined cycle plant in London. Under the $170 million deal, construction work will begin this year, with completion scheduled for the end of 1999.
The plant will be built in Enfield on the northern outskirts of London. It will comprise a GT26 gas turbine, steam turbine and a heat recovery steam generator.
