Centrica subsidiary, Neas Energy changes company name to Centrica Energy Trading as it becomes fully integrated with Centrica Energy Marketing & Trading uniting activities, growth strategy and company culture across multiple office locations.

Neas Energy was acquired by Centrica in 2016 in line with Centrica’s strategy to expand and diversify its route to market services in Europe, trading and optimisation activities.

Commenting on the announcement Co-Managing Director in Centrica Energy Marketing & Trading, Cassim Mangerah said: “The acquisition of Neas Energy has been a success and the integration of our activities in Energy Marketing & Trading is a pivotal step in the direction of accelerating our energy marketing and trading growth strategy.

“We are focused on moving and trading energy to satisfy the changing needs of our customers and integrating our activities in Energy Marketing & Trading across multiple locations strengthens our value propositions to our customers and counterparts with diversified energy infrastructure portfolios and exposure in several markets.”

The name change of Neas Energy and the international companies in Neas Energy is expected to come into effect by February 26, 2019.

All relevant authorities and stakeholders will be notified that Neas Energy will start operating under the new names:

Centrica Energy Trading (Denmark)

Centrica Energy Trading (Germany)

Centrica Energy Trading (Singapore)

Please note, that this is exclusively a name change and will not impose other changes to legal entities. Company registration numbers, VAT numbers, scheduling/shipper codes, addresses, bank account details, phone numbers will remain unchanged.
