Alfa Laval has bagged an energy efficiency order to supply waste heat recovery systems to a power plant in Bangladesh.
The order has a value of approximately SEK 70 million. It is booked in the Boiler & Gas Systems unit of the Marine Division, with deliveries scheduled for 2018.
The order comprises Alfa Laval exhaust gas heat recovery boilers to be installed in a greenfield power plant where they will recover waste heat to be used in the electricity generation process.
Alfa Laval Marine Division president Peter Leifland said: “I am very pleased to announce this order for our energy-efficient Aalborg waste heat recovery systems.
“Alfa Laval has a wide range of energy-efficient products which contribute to huge energy savings in many different industries.”
