Cummins power generation products

Technical data on more than fifty generating set models covering outputs from 30 kW to 2000 kW is now accessible on a new Cummins Power Generation web site, www.cumminspowergeneration.com.

Although the site is large and comprehensive, covering technical data sheets for every model, including ratings, fuel consumptions, air flows, exhaust emissions, dimensions and performance date, as well as a variety of customer services, it is not as accessible as it might be. Navigating it would be a lot easier, one senses, if the navigating engine didn’t frequently fail owing to a timeout. The pages we did get a look at however were detailed and comprehensive. The PowerStore was what it sounds like – a shop where you can view products as well as samples of operational and maintenance manuals, catalogues etc: the customer assistance page invited queries by ‘phone or email: and there is a feedback page for comments and questions. One can also see case histories, applications, and press releases on new products. The exception to a generally well organised site was the service locater (ie the directory of service agents in your area) which seemed only to apply to North America.
