
The solar power plants will be built near Corte and Castifao, on the French island of Corsica.
The two storage systems, based on lithium-ion batteries, will each have an installed capacity of 1 MWh, storage capacity of 1 Mwh.
Each of the solar plant will generate 1,300 MWh of energy per year, enough to supply over 400 homes on the island.
Schneider will supply its PVBox for solar power conversion, ESBox for battery power conversion, and Energy Management System, while Saft will install its Intensium Max+ 20E energy storage solution.
Schneider will also be responsible for the interconnection between several parts of the facilities, and with the electric distribution network.

Both the installations are expected to be connected to the grid by the end of this year.
