‘By opening this office we are looking to repeat our success in delivering first-class IntiliCEMS(TM) line of Continuous Emission Monitor Systems in the U.S. and bring the product to this growing market,’ stated Ravi Narayan, vice president of MIP. ‘The decision was dictated by a growing number of requests about our products from the region. India is one of the fastest growing markets and we are very confident that having local presence will enable us to better serve our customers. We have finished hiring a stellar group of experienced engineers to operate in Mumbai, and I believe this office will continue to expand in the next year,’ stated Narayan.

Despite a recent slowing economy, India’s energy demand continues to increase, and with their unhindered efforts to build coal-fired power plants, Cemtrex is in a great position to help companies in India meet their compliance needs,’ stated Arun Govil, chief executive officer of Cemtrex. ‘Our India operation will be focused on selling Cemtrex’s environmental monitoring products to expand our foothold into the marketplace and as India adopts more energy-efficient practices we will also promote our energy-efficiency products like Green DCV in the near future. The country is expected to have an average GDP growth of 7.7% and energy demand growth of over 40%, so Cemtrex has an enormous opportunity to capitalize on India’s economic proliferation,’ added Govil.
