The addition of Jim and Frank to SIONIX’s board of directors ensures the company will continue to benefit from a diversity of knowledge and opinions. Jim and Frank are the valuable directors as they have strong leadership skills, broad management experience, and proven track records, said chairman of the board of SIONIX, John Pavia.
President and chief executive officer of SIONIX, Rodney Anderson, welcomed the insight and the knowledge of both Jim and Frank, and said: These two new directors have exceptional backgrounds in the oil/gas and manufacturing industries, two extremely important fields that the company is presently expanding in. Their insight will be invaluable as the company transforms from development a stage company to that of a manufacturing company of its new Elixir Modular Packaged Water Treatment Systems.
SIONIX will supply its first new reverse-osmosis water treatment unit in coming few weeks to Innovative Water Equipment, Inc. The system will be operated by Arkansas Water Treatment LLC. The Elixir 225-P/RO unit is the first of company’s new reverse-osmosis water treatment systems for the oil and gas industry. This unit is engineered to clean contaminated water that results from the gas well drilling and production. This water is high in salt content and is laced with many toxins and petroleum products. Due to the stringent regulations, oil and gas companies incur high expense to haul most of this waste water out of the State of Arkansas. The SIONIX reverse-osmosis system will enable these companies to treat water on site, and then reuse the cleansed water thereby minimizing their remediation costs while also offering a much required green solution to an environmental hazard.
Jim has been the general manager of Alexander Energy for the past 15 years, engaged in exploration and production of petroleum products in the southwestern US. Jim brought to that position over two decades of financial management and consulting in securities industry and other businesses. In addition, Jim has been a large shareholder of the company for many years, and has been continuously related with the company since 1995.
Director Frank has been a long term associate of Rodney Anderson in the aerospace industry. Additionally to his leadership, negotiation, and sales skills, Anderson stated that Frank’s contacts and expertise of 25 years of manufacturing experience will serve company’s customers and shareholders well as the company transitions into a full stage manufacturing company for its water treatment systems. He was officially appointed to the board of directors on March 24, 2009.
