The project will develop two sets of straw boiler with 2 x 12MW condensing steam turbines and affiliated equipments for the proposed power plant, based on the availability of straw resources within a 50km radius of the proposed location and local economic development.
A-Power, which will act as the EPC contractor for the plant installation phases, started work on the project in Baisha County at the end of November 2010 and expects to take approximately 15 months to complete it.
