The project, which requires Insituform-India to rehabilitate about 16,000ft of medium diameter sewer pipelines for the water utility installing Insituform CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) product and iPlus Composite, is expected to begin in February 2011 and be complete in approximately 15 months.

This contract that strengthens Insituform-India’s position in the Indian trenchless sewer rehabilitation market with the expansion into Uttar Pradesh marks the company’s first project outside Delhi, where it has already secured approximately $42.0m in work to date.

Insituform vice president of Asia-Pacific area Daniel Cowan said that Insituform is excited to expand its reach in the Asia-Pacific market and for Insituform-India to continue to grow its operations in India.
