The $42m Danielson wind power project was constructed in conjunction with the 19.8MW Adams wind facility, which is also located in Meeker County.
Juhl Wind developed and acted as the owner’s representative for the construction phase for both the power projects.
Juhl Wind started developing the Danielson project in December 2009 and construction work commenced in October 2010.
Xcel Energy has signed 20-year power purchase agreement with Juhl Wind to buy the electricity generated from the 19.8MW Danielson project, that will consist of 12 Alstom ECO 86 wind turbines.
