Lista Vindkraftverk, a subsidiary of Fred Olsen Renewables, has secured a contract to oversee civil and electrical work for Lista wind facility in Norway.

Under the contract, Lista Vindkraftverk will manage civil and electrical work related to the construction of the onshore Lista Vindkraftverk wind farm in Vest-Agder, with Veidekke Entreprenor.

Contracts for wind turbines and other supplies will be awarded this month.

The construction period will be approximately two years, and the first electricity is estimated to be produced in fourth quarter of 2012.

Lista Vindkraftverk will comprise 31 wind turbines and will produce electricity sufficient to support 12,000 households.

Total investment cost is estimated to nearly NOK900m ($169.76m), out of which NOK388m ($73.18m) is provided by Enova by way of investment support.

Fred Olsen Renewables is jointly owned by Bonheur and Ganger Rolf.
