The rebates are available on LSG’s PAR38, PAR30 and MR16 LED bulb types that are claimed to be approximately 80% more efficient than the 75, 60, and 25W traditional bulbs that they replace, are fully dimmable and provide approximately 50% more lumens than certain competing products.
Xcel Energy will also offer rebates on LSG’s energy saving DEFINITY bulbs, including A19, PAR20, and G25 bulb application types that unlike the compact fluorescent lamps contain no mercury and are completely recyclable.
The installation of these LED light bulbs tested under the Energy Star Eligibility Criteria, Version 1.1 process by an independent laboratory approved by the US Department of Energy’s CALiPER program, is expected to help the users save in energy bills without sacrificing performance.
