As per the agreed terms, the company will install the AQCS at the Lon D. Wright Power Plant. The technology will enable the plant to meet the Mercury and Air Toxics Standard and the National Air Quality Standard with respect to SO2.
In addition, the company has partnered with Siemens Environmental Systems & Services and SEGA, under which Siemens will act as the primary technology partner for the project and SEGA will provide the entire engineering and integration of the Siemens system into the plant.
The Lon D. Wright Power Plant, which is a 90MW coal fired unit, is expected benefit from the retrofit of the Siemens technology and the project will support the target of clean energy and protection of the environment.
The project is expected to become operational in the Q3 of 2015.
