The company has signed a definitive agreement for supplying energy saving LED Solar Street Lighting Systems worth INR66.3m to the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency.
MIC has also bagged INR58.7m orders from Indian Railways to supply a gamut of True Color LED Display Systems and Emergency LED Lighting systems.
The additional contracts including orders worth INR41.3m for LED Lighting systems and INR72.6m for True Color LED Display System from various corporate houses, will allow MIC to cater all energy efficiency LED lighting needs of the corporate companies.
MIC Electronics chairman and managing director Dr M Rao said that the company is pleased with the procurement of the new orders as this will help MIC to strengthen and consolidate its position in the domestic market.
"The demand for energy saving LED lighting and Displays is rising and we have the infrastructure and technology to deliver the best in the industry." Rao said.
