This technology eliminates the need for a gearbox leading to reduction in cost and maintenance to generate electricity and uses the wind augmenter and smaller blades with the blade rpm reaching speeds to allow for direct connection to an induction generator.
Additionally, the updated design provides lower height specifications, reduced noise and vibrations, ease of construction and maintenance, ability to be located on more difficult and lower wind speed sites.

The company plans to continue to test and refine the horizontal-axis blade’s model, designed to be small, light-weight and made of durable construction, in preparation for plans of mass production early next year.
