Under this contract, Cofely will provide mechanical and electrical maintenance and fabric works to improve the energy efficiency of the building that has a floor area of nearly 48,000sq m and is about 180m high.

Cofely’s team including a controls engineer, a contract manager, shift leaders and technicians coupled with on-site administration and helpdesk staff will be employed to maintain and optimize the building management system (BMS).

The BMS will maximize the use of natural ventilation integrated with blinds, on floor fan coil units and motorized windows to help the environmental control systems continuously adapt to changes in daylight, temperature, humidity and wind speed and reduce the building energy consumption.

Cofely, which has signed contracts with the building’s tenants to provide energy efficiency services on an individual basis, will also retain a tenants’ supervisor, ensuring a team member is always available to assist with tenants’ queries or problems.
