As part of the deal, Guangdong will be involved in the wind farm development, supply of EPC services and equipment procurement of a 200MW wind farm project in Romania.
Ming Yang will supply its 2.0MW large rotor diameter wind turbine generators for the new project, which is expected to cost around €400m.
Ming Yang Wind Power chairman and CEO Chuanwei Zhang said the latest deal marks an important milestone in company’s overseas expansion strategy.
"Ming Yang expects to leverage this opportunity in Romania as a base of expansion into Europe and intends to supply competitive wind power solutions to customers in the region," Zhang added.
