The new frame agreement for 225 megawatts worth of turbines comes in the wake of the completion of an earlier deal, signed in 2012 for 47 wind turbines.
As per the deal, Vestas will provide seven V112-3.0MW turbines for installation at Rhineland-Palatinate during the third quarter of 2014.
The remaining units would be delivered and installed at sites in Western, Central and Southern Germany by the end of this year.
In addition to supplying, installing and commissioning the wind turbines, Vestas is also tasked with offering its Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition solution, together with a 15-year full-scope service agreement.
juwi founder and board member Matthias Willenbacher said Vestas’ wind turbines would allow offering various customers reliable technology for sustainable energy production.
