The company will use Tendril ESM platform to deliver home energy reports that are designed to increase energy usage awareness and offer recommendations for reducing consumption.

NV Energy offers a range of energy services to 1.3 million customers across Nevada.

Both the companies will start delivering home energy reports to Nevada residents in July 2014.

Tendril CEO Adrian Tuck said NV Energy focuses on delivering a different set of tools to help its customers better manage their energy use and save money.

"By selecting Tendril to support the delivery of Home Energy Reports, they are now doubling down on the power of data to further engage an already enlightened customer base," Tuck added.

"I am confident that our approach to delivering highly targeted and personalized information will have an immediate positive impact on the energy consumption habits and satisfaction rates of Nevada’s residential customers."

Tendril’s open, cloud-based software platform offers the infrastructure, analytics and understanding needed to provide personalized energy services.
