Borusan EnBW is the joint venture of Germany-based EnBW and the Turkish firm Borusan.
Under the contract, Vestas will deliver 10 of its V112-3.3 MW turbines to the Fuat RES wind farm in the Turkish city of Izmir.
The turbines are scheduled for delivery in the final quarter of 2014, with commissioning of the wind farm anticipated in the second quarter of 2015.
The deal also includes a VestasOnline Business Scada system, as well as a five-year service agreement.
After completion, the wind farm is expected to generate 112,000MWh of electricity per year, enough to meet the needs of about 185,000 people in Turkey.
The wind farm will reduce 51,500 tons of CO2 emissions on an annual basis.
Borusan EnBW Enerji general manager Mehmet Acarla said the company plans to develop one of the largest onshore wind power plant portfolios in Europe.

Borusan EnBW intends to expand Turkey’s electricity generation capacity by 2,000MW until 2020, primarily in the renewable energy sector.
