For the first quarter of fiscal 2009, total revenues were $1.56 billion, a 22.4% increase, compared to $1.28 billion in the first quarter of fiscal 2008. Gross profit was $199.02 million, a 5.7% increase, compared to $188.35 million in the same quarter of fiscal 2008.

Robert Myers, president and CEO, said: The results include a charge of $2.6 million related to flood damages. If these costs were eliminated, our earnings would have exceeded the record high $0.59 we reported a year ago. We achieved excellent growth in a challenging economy, and our results give us a solid start toward our fiscal 2009 performance goals.
