The agreement dubbed Sidi Mansour, wraps the gathering of seismic data and the drilling of an offshore deepwater well, and will require a joint investment of some $3 million from the two companies.

The agreement was signed on June 8, 2009 in Tunis during a ceremony gathering the Minister Of Industry, Energy and Small and Medium Enterprises, Afif Chelbi, Norbert Groescher, OMV Tunisia’s general manager, Jasem Al Dorsari, Thani Tunisia’s general manager and Khaled Becheikh, ETAP’s chief executive officer.
