From the year-end 2009 until early next year, the company will realize wellhead platform (WHP) B, central processing plant (CPP), and accommodation and utility platform (AUP).

The second-stage development was the continuation of the first-stage one, which lifted extra gas, according to Hartell. Hess’s initial gas lifting occured in April 2007 with a production rate of 100 MMscfd from four gas wells and one water waste well.
Hess struck oil for the first time in the block in December, 2008 after drilling nine new wells. It already pumped gas from the block since April 2007.
