The stator weight complete with shipping assembly equipment was almost 500 tons. The equipment has been shipped on the unique railway conveyor and sent to the customer’s construction site.
For today Power Machines have manufactured and shipped the main volume of the turbine and heat-exchange equipment for the first unit of the Belarusian NPP. Works on installation of the turbine of the first unit are being carried out proactively at the plant, at the same time equipment for the second unit is coming.
Contract for manufacture and of the main equipment of the power house of the Belarusian NPP was signed in 2012. In accordance with its conditions Power Machines will manufacture and deliver for the constructed NPP two complete turbine plants, including high-speed steam turbines with a capacity of 1200 MW each, condensers and equipment of auxiliary systems and two complete turbogenerators with a capacity of 1200 MW with equipment of auxiliary systems. In addition, Power machines specialists will perform erection supervision of the delivered equipment.
