The power project will be located on six potential sites in Kern, Kings and/or Tulare counties including a 1MW solar carport facility to be built in Marin County.
Marin Clean Energy will buy electricity under the 25-year contract with buyout opportunities at years 10, 15 and 20 of the contract term.
The solar project will be developed, owned and operated by enXco and is expected to commence commercial operation by the end of March 2014.
The combined sites will generate approximately 60,000MWh of electricity per year, enXco said.
