All the four power projects have received planning permissions, grid connections are secured, feedstock and power off take contracts are being finalized with reputed local energy and biomass suppliers.
The four power projects will result in a total net power production of 37.5MWe, and are located in four UK Ports, Hull, Barry, Sunderland and Barrow to take advantage of both the UK’s internal and external transport infrastructures.
Subject to the funding scheme, the first project will begin construction in second half of next year.
CHO-Power Development head Marc Lefour said the company will help to bring these projects to the execution phase.
"CHO-Power brings a bankable technology, as it demonstrated with its flagship plant in Morcenx (France)," Lefour said.
